By enrolling in the text messaging and email programs (the “Programs”) offered by Citizens for Excellence in Miami-Dade County (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Program messages may include informational updates, community announcements, fundraising messages, and on-demand replies. Consent to receive automated texts/emails is not a condition of any purchase or participation.
You agree to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS/MMS) and emails from Citizens for Excellence in Miami-Dade County at the contact information you provide or subsequently designate. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Message types include, but are not limited to, informational messages, fundraising messages, confirmations, and help responses.
Message and data rates may apply. Please consult your mobile carrier for rate information and details of your plan.
Message frequency will vary. We may change the total number of messages sent or the sending phone number at any time. Not all devices or carriers are supported, and messages may not be deliverable in all areas. Citizens for Excellence in Miami-Dade County, our service providers, and participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You may opt out of a Program at any time by replying to any message with STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. You may receive a final confirmation message to verify your opt-out request. If you are subscribed to multiple Programs or numbers, you must opt out of each Program/number separately.
The foregoing keywords are the only reasonable and exclusive methods of opting out. Requests sent using other words or via other channels (e.g., verbal requests) are not guaranteed to be processed.
For support, reply HELP to any Program message or email us at [email protected]. Please note: messaging HELP or contacting support is not an opt-out request. To stop messages, use one of the opt-out keywords listed above.
We respect your privacy. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties except as required to provide messaging services or to comply with legal obligations. The Programs are provided on an “as-is” basis and may not be available at all times or in all locations. We are not responsible for any delays or failures in the receipt of messages or emails. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier, network operator, or email provider, which are outside of our control.
We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates take effect upon posting. Continued participation in the Programs after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
